The 1878 7/8 Tail Feathers (TF) Morgan Silver Dollar in Brilliant Uncirculated (BU) condition is a highly sought-after coin among collectors due to its historical significance and unique design feature. This specific variety of the Morgan Silver Dollar was the result of a transitional error during the coin's production. Initially, the reverse design featured the eagle with eight tail feathers, but it was quickly changed to seven tail feathers to more accurately reflect the eagle's natural anatomy.
